Connecting Rod

The Connecting rod Connects the piston to the crankshaft and it is drop forged construction.

The small end of the connecting rod is attached to the piston and the big end of the rod is connected to the crankshaft via bearings. Lubricating oil for connecting rod bearings is provided from the adjacent main bearing through a bore in the crankshaft.
